L’affect, un autre roc ?
Résumé
L'auteur s'interroge sur les difficultés suscitées par la présence d'affects primaires dans le fonctionnement mental. Des repères théoriques situent le statut métapsychologique de l'affect. Dans la cure, la technique préconisée consiste à tenter de lier les affects anciens par le sens avec l'espoir de contribuer à leur symbolisation. Deux types de situations cliniques sont envisagées : d'une part, les analysants présentant d'emblée des manifestations émotionnelles intenses, d'autre part les analysants de structure narcissique.

De auteur stelt zich vragen over de moeilijkheden die oprijzen naar aanleiding van de aanwezigheid van primaire affecten in de werking van het psychisme.
Theoretische richtpunten helpen ons het metapsychologisch statuut van het affect te situeren.
In de psychoanalytische behandeling wordt als techniek aangeraden te trachten de oude (primaire) affecten te binden door er een betekenis aan te hechten, met de hoop zodoende bij te dragen tot hun symbolisatie.
Twee klinische situaties worden nagegaan : enerzijds de analysandi die van meet af aan intense emotionele verschijnselen vertonen, anderzijds de analysandi met een narcistische structuur.
Summary
The author ponders upon the difficulties created by the presence of primary affects in mental functioning. The metapsychological status of the affect is established from theoretical points of reference. In psychoanalysis, the technique consists of an attempt to link the older affects to meaning with the hope of aiding their symbolisation. Two kinds of clinical situation are envisaged : on the one hand, analysands presenting from the beginning intense emotional manifestations, on the other hand, analysands with a narcissistic structure.
