La réalité dans la cure
Résumé
La caractéristique essentielle de la cure analytique réside dans l'attention portée à la "réalité psychique". Sans contredire ce fait, le présent article cherche à discerner la place de la "réalité", dans trois directions : réalité de la situation analytique elle-même, réalité extérieure à la cure, réalité "historique" aux fondements de l'aujourd'hui psychique.
L'auteur en dégage une double nécessité : celle de penser constamment en termes de dialectique les relations entre réalité psychique et réalité, celle aussi de reconnaître le côté "interactionnel" de toute relation analytique, dans laquelle la réalité de l'analyste contribue pas à pas à la confection du processus en cours. Cette perspective interactive nous oblige à revoir bien des concepts techniques et souligne l'enjeu éthique de notre travail.
Samenvatting
Aandacht voor de "psychische realiteit" is een essentieel kenmerk van de psychoanalytische behandeling. Zonder dit feit tegen te spreken, probeert de schrijver in dit artikel het aandeel van de "realiteit" te onderkennen in drie richtingen : de realiteit van de psychoanalytische situatie zelf, de realiteit buiten de behandelingssituatie en de historische realiteit voor zover zij aan de grondslag ligt van de psychische beleving van vandaag.
Voor de auteur komt daaruit een dubbele noodwendigheid naar voor : wij moeten ons voortdurend de relaties tussen psychische realiteit en realiteit in dialektische termen indenken ; verder dienen we ook de "interaktionele" kant van iedere analytische relatie te erkennen, waarin de realiteit van de analyticus stap voor stap bijdraagt tot het in gang zijnde proces. Dit interaktionele perspektief dwingt ons heel wat technische manieren om de zaken aan te pakken te herzien en benadrukt ook de ethische inzet van ons werk.
Summary
It is the attention brought to psychic reality which gives psychoanalysis its essential character. Without contradicting this fact, the author tries to show more clearly the place of "reality" from three different viewpoints : the reality of the analytic situation itself, the reality outside the analysis and the historic reality underlying the psychic present.
The author distinguishes two necessities : that of thinking constantly of the dialectic of the relation between psychic reality and reality, and that of recognising the "interactional" aspect of every analytic relationship in which the analyst's reality is contributing at every step to the evolution of the ongoing process. This interactional perspective forces us to take a careful look at our technical conceptions and emphasises the ethical aspect of our work.
