Du visage au double
Résumé
Le double n'a pas reçu de conceptualisation dans la théorie psychanalytique. Tout au plus cette notion a été abordée au travers d'autres aspects bien spécifiques tels que la théorie du visage chez SAMI-ALI, le double dans la littérature et l'histoire des civilisations chez O. RANK, et son rapport avec l'inquiétante étrangeté chez S. FREUD. Le double est une notion qui semble n'exister, à défaut d'une existence en soi, qu'en corrélation (en double, pourrions-nous dire) à des thèmes comme le double et la vie, le double et la mort, le double et l'âme, ou encore le double et l'angoisse.
Si l'histoire de l'enfant que l'auteur nous présente nous interroge sur la place et la fonction du double, elle témoigne d'un passage du double de l'espace extra-psychique vers l'espace intra-psychique, faisant naître une nouvelle liaison : le double et le moi.

Het begrip van de dubbelganger heeft in de psychoanalytische theorie nog niet zijn uitgewerkte vorm gevonden.
Dit begrip werd tot hiertoe slechts aangesneden doorheen andere, weI zeer specifieke, aspecten zoals de aangezichtstheorie van Sami-Ali, de dubbelganger in literatuur en beschavingsgeschiedenis van otto Rank, evenals via de "onrustwekkende vreemheid" bij Sigmund Freud.
Bij ontstentenis aan een bestaan op zich zelf, lijkt het begrip dubbelganger slechts te bestaan in zoverre het betrekking heeft op (en als een soort duplicaat zouden we kunnen zeggen van) thema's als de dubbelganger en het leven, de dubbelganger en de dood, de dubbelganger en de ziel, of nog de dubbelganger en de angst.
Uitgaande van de gevalsstudie van een kind, door de auteur angebracht rijst bij ons de vraag op naar de plaats en de functie van de dubbelganger.
Uït deze geschiedenis komt ook naar voor dat de dubbelganger van plaats wisselt en overgaat van de ruimte buiten de psychische beleving naar de ruimte van de intrapsychische beleving. Daarbij ontstaat een nieuwe band : die tussen de dubbelganger en het Ik.
Summary
The double has not been conceptualised in psychoanalytic theory. At the very most the notion has been approached through other quite specific aspects such as, for instance, Sami-Ali's theory of the face, the double in literature and the history of civilisations of O. Rank, and its connection with the Uncanny of Freud. The double seems to be a notion which, lacking an individual existence, occurs only in correlation (in double, we might say) with themes such as the double and life, the double and death, the double and the soul, or even the double and anxiety.
If the history of the child which the author presents raises questions about the place and the function of the double, it gives evidence of the double's passage from extra-psychic space to intra-psychic space, giving birth to a new link, the double and the ego.
