La musicothérapie est un dispositif thérapeutique qui utilise la musique et les sons comme médium dans la relation thérapeutique. Ce médium plonge ses racines dans le monde archaïque de la sensorialité et des premiers échanges entre le bébé et son environnement. Il a donc la capacité de remobiliser ces premiers liens. Il a aussi une charge émotionnelle évidente et un ancrage corporel très important.

Musiektherapie is een therapeutische opstelling, die musiek en klanken gebruikt als bemiddelaar in de therapeutische relatie. Deze bemiddelaar verdiept zich in de archaïsche wereld van zintuiglijkheid en van de eerste verbindingen tussen de baby en zijn omgeving. Het heeft zo de bevoegdheid deze oorspronkelijke verbindingen in beweging terug te brengen. Het heeft ook een evidente emotionnele belasting en een heel belankrijk lichamelijke verankering.
Summary
Music therapy is a therapeutic setting which use music and sounds as a medium in the therapeutic relationship. This medium take its roots in the archaïc world of sensoriality and the first interactions between the baby and his environment. Music has the capacity to mobilize these first relationships again. It has also an obvious emotional weight and a very important corporal anchoring.
