Résumé
Le mot identification renvoie d'emblée à deux principes opposés sinon contradictoires : le principe de similitude et le principe de distinction. Ces deux principes sous-tendent les difficultés que nous pouvons rencontrer sur le chemin qui différencie les bonnes Identifications, c'est-à-dire celles qui vont dans le sens d'une croissance psychique, des mauvaises Identifications, c'est-à-dire celles qui vont dans le sens d'une inclusion, d'un empiètement qui empêche le développement. C'est ce chemin que l'auteur vous invite à parcourir avec lui.

De term identificatie verwijst al dadelijk naar twee tegengestelde, ja zelfs elkaar tegensprekende principes : er is het principe van de gelijkvormigheid naast het principe van het onderscheid.
Deze twee principes, liggen aan de basis van de moeilijkheden die we kunnen tegenkomen op de weg die leidt naar een differentiatie tussen de goede en de slechte identificaties.
Goede identificaties zijn deze die leiden naar psychische groei, terwijl de slechte identificaties aanleiding geven tot een gevoel van ingesloten-zijn en onrechtmatige toeëigening dat de ontwikkeling belet.
De auteur nodigt de lezer uit om in die zin over de identificatie na te denken.
Summary
The word "identification" refers us at once to two opposing, if not contradictory principles : principle of similitude and principle of distinction. These two principles underlie the difficulties which we may meet along the pathway of differentiation between good identifications, those which go in the direction of psychic growth, and bad identifications, leading to encapsulation and encroachment which hinder development. This is the pathway along which the author invites you to accompany her.
