Résumé
La communication interpersonnelle établie via les réseaux informatiques est désormais une réalité globale. Et la relation thérapeutique ne peut ignorer un phénomène aussi important. Peut-on analyser le lien généré par la réalité virtuelle sous l’angle de la théorie et de la technique psychanalytiques ? Sur la base de mon expérience personnelle relative à des cas de traitements à distance, je souhaite partager avec vous ce nouveau défi. Les nouveaux systèmes d’interrelation avec les patients annoncent une expansion passionnante. En même temps, ils obligent les psychanalystes à avoir recours à de nouvelles formulations et conceptualisations théoriques, techniques et éthiques.
Interpersoonlijke communicatie via cyberspace is een nieuw mondiaal realiteit. De therapeutische relatie mag niet een zo belangrijk fenomeen voorkomen. Kunnen we de link die de virtuele realiteit ontbrengt onder de hoek van de psychoanalytische theorie en techniek analyseren ? Op basis van zijn persoonlijke ervaring van therapie met Skype zal de auteur met deze nieuwe uitdaging delen. De nieuwe systemen van interacties door Internet met patiënten kondigen een fascinerende expansie. Tegelijkertijd zijn de psychoanalysts verplicht over nieuwe theoretische, technische en ethische formuleringen en concepts na te denken.
Interpersonal communication via cyberspace is a new global phenomenon. The therapeutic relationship must not avoid such an important fact.
The question is: Is it possible to generate an effective analysis using this new virtual reality within the confines of the theories and techniques of traditional psychoanalysis?
I am presently treating patients via skype and would like to share with you my personal experiences and challenges I have been facing. Adoption of new systems of patient/therapist relationships implies much broader horizons for our profession.
As psychoanalysts we need to create new concepts, revise technique while being cognizant of the confidential limitation of cyber communication.
