Samenvatting

Cet article part du point de vue que la musique est étroitement liée aux affects. Une situation clinique montre l’importance d’un langage affectif porté par la rêverie musicale de l’analyste. La musique accède directement à ce qui nous touche intérieurement, sans autre médiation que le son, le rythme et la mélodie, et constitue un protolangage uni- versel, une matrice dans laquelle peuvent s’inscrire des souvenirs en sentiments.

Dit artikel vertrekt vanuit het standpunt dat muziek nauw verbonden is met affecten. Een klinisch vignet toont het belang van een affectieve taal die gedragen wordt door de muzikale rêverie van de analyticus. De muziek heeft rechtstreeks toegang tot datgene wat ons vanbinnenuit raakt door de toon, het ritme en de melodie, en vormt een universele proto-taal, een matrix waarin herinneringen en gevoelens zich kunnen inschrijven.

Summary

This paper takes for granted that music is closely related to affects. A clinical situation demonstrates the importance of an affective language supported by the musical reverie of the analyst. Music has direct access to what is deeply moving through sound, rhythm and melody, and constitutes a universal protolanguage, a matrix where memories in feelings can be inscribed.
