Summary

Psychoanalytic thinking is permeated by a historic conception of temporality : this organisation is the indispensable condition for any possible interpretation.

The existence of an imaginary oriented time is in no way linked with an innate state of thought even though this is indispensable to it.

The establishment of imaginary time is the result of a progressive construction in a state of crisis in the case of somatic pathology. This is what the analysis of a case of eczema tends to shox, where the therapy was the first possibility of elaborating a personal time, the indispensable condition for receiving an interpretation as it is, that is, carrying an individual meaning. Through the study of two situations of infantile pathology, this text shows how much the respective organisation of the partners in the early mother-child relationship is involved from the beginning in the outcome of this educational exchange, possible source of the dead-ends in which the somatisations originate.
