La réceptivité à l’affect est un enjeu du fonctionnement psychique en général, et de la séance en particulier. Sa dimension inconsciente est déterminante. Comment le moi se laisse-t-il éprouver par l’affect ? Qu’en advient-il de subjectivant et de transformateur ? Les vicissitudes de cette réceptivité reflètent divers avatars du développement du processus psychique et différents conflits psychiques. Il est éclairant d’envisager certaines impasses processuelles sous cet angle.

Ontvankelijkheid voor het affect, een proces dat voor een deel onbewust verloopt, is een belangrijk aspect van het psychisch functioneren tijdens de analytische sessie. Hoe ervaart en draagt het ego, het affect ? Welke subjectieve ervaringen en transformaties komen tot stand ? De lotgevallen van deze receptiviteit geven informatie over de verschillende ontwikkelingsfasen en de hiermee gepaard gaande conflicten. In het artikel wordt gewezen op enkele obstakels voor het psychoanalytisch proces wanneer men de ontvankelijkheid voor het affect als uitgangspunt neemt.
Summary
Receptiveness to affect, a partly unconscious process, is an important issue in psychic functioning moreover in the analytic session. How does the ego experience and sustain affect ? What subjective or transformative experience becomes of this ? The vicissitudes of this receptivity are informative of diverse developmental issues and of different conflicts. It is also interesting to consider certain obstacles in the psychoanalytic process from this perspective.
