Vandaar de notie "acting through".

Summary

The concept of working through as we know it today is not sufficient for understanding the psychic development which originates in an analytic process. Part of this development is situated at the level of the Ucs. and comes about thanks to certain "actings" on the part of the analysand but on the analyst's part as weIl. A notion such as "acting through" could express this. The actions in question differ from the various forms of acting out and can be conceptualised as a "language" which the Ucs. understands.
