L’oeuvre de la conviction, la part du doute dans la cure psychanalytique
Résumé
Les critiques fondamentales adressées à la psychanalyse sont l’écho à un niveau culturel de doutes intimes qui surgissent lors d’une cure psychanalytique. A quoi correspondent ces doutes ? Comment ceux-ci se travaillent-ils dans l’analyse ? Cet article propose d’entendre ces doutes comme une réponse légitime à l’émergence de désirs infantiles revendicateurs et la construction progressive de la conviction comme une reprise à son compte des pulsions par le moi. Le processus visant finalement à offrir un nouveau destin aux pulsions.

De fundamentele kritieken die tegenover de psychoanalyse geuit worden zijn de echo van intieme twijfels op een cultureel niveau naar aanleiding van het verloop van een analytische kuur. Waar beantwoorden deze twijfels aan ? En hoe vinden ze hun weg in het analytische werk ? Dit artikel stelt voor van deze twijfels te horen als een gerechtvaardigd antwoord op het ontstaan van kinderlijke protestwensen en de progressieve opbouw van overtuiging als een heropnemen van de driften op rekening van het ik. Dit proces heeft als uiteindelijke doelstelling een nieuwe bestemming te geven aan de driften.
Summary
The basic criticisms addressed to psychoanalysis are an echo of a cultural level of the intimate doubts that arise in the course of an analysis. What sense do these doubts have ? How are they elaborated in the analysis ? This article proposes to hear these doubts as a legitimate response to the emergence of infantile desires and demands, and the progressive construction of conviction in terms of the Ego taking responsibility for the drives. In the end, the process intends to offer the drives a new destiny.
