Résumé
A partir de l'observation de la dyade mère/nourrisson, l'auteur s'interroge sur l'incidence du langage de la mère sur l'émergence de la pensée du nourrisson. Le langage est envisagé sous l'angle de ses apports sensoriel et sémantique. Des réflexions parallèles sont ensuite élaborées quant à l'impact du langage du thérapeute sur l'organisation mentale du patient.

Vertrekkend van de observatie van de twee-eenheid moeder-baby, stelt de auteur zich vragen over de invloed van het spreken van de moeder op het ontluiken van het denkleven van het kind.
De gesproken taal wordt bekeken vanuit twee hoeken : de sensoriële inbreng en de semantische inbreng.
Parallele beschouwingen worden verder gewijd aan de mate waarin de gesproken taal van de therapeut greep krijgt op de mentale organisatie van de patiënt.
Summary
Starting off from the observation of the dyad mother/infant, the author discusses some questions on the influence of the language of the mother on the emergence of thought in the infant. Language is considered in the light of its sensory and semantic contribution. Some parallel reflections are then made concerning the impact of a therapist's language on the mental organisation of his patient.
