La situation de l’adolescence et la psychanalyse

L'adolescence est apparue aux premières générations d'analystes poser des problèmes particuliers pour lesquels la réponse offerte par la psychanalyse n'était pas toujours évidente. Cet article tente de situer la place de l'analyste, en repérant la demande de l'adolescent au sein de son environnement, en dégageant quelques traits spécifiques au vécu adolescent et au contre-transfert s'y rapportant, et en ouvrant ainsi sur quelques questions : pathologie, cadre et modalités de travail de l'analyste.
Samenvatting
Voor de eerste generatie psychoanalytic gaf de psychoanalyse geen duidelijk antwoord op de vragen opgeroepen door de problemen eigen aan de adolescentie.
Dit artikel probeert de taak van de analyse te omschrijven†:; namelijk wat juist de eigen vraag is van de adolescent en hem ter zelfder tijd toch blijven zien te midden van de omgeving waarvan hij deel uitmaakt.
Verder dient de analyticus enkele typische eigenaardigheden in de beleving van de adolescent en in de tegenoverdracht die er betrekking op heef, naar voor de brengen.
Zodoende komt hij er toe bij de behandeling van adolescenten enkele vragen te stellen zoals : hoe moeten we als analyticus de pathologie, het kader en de werkmodaliteiten bij de adolescenten opvatten om met hen tot een vruchtbare analytische arbeid te komen.
Summary
To the first generations of analysts, adolescence appeared to present particular problems for which the solution offered by psychoanalysis was not always clear. This article tries to situate the place of analysis, by recognising the adolescent's demand in the heart of his environment, by isolating certain characteristics specific to adolescent experience and to the counter-transference related to it, thus opening up certain questions : pathology, setting and the working methods of the analyst.
