G vs b : between belief and conviction?

That Maurice asserts himself and proceeds to his physical transformation into Madeleine, ” to find his/her real nature “, is not without questionning ourselves about him/her,… about us. What extreme strength, or which psychic mechanisms, (re)questioning a whole “being”, a life, lead to this conviction or this intimate and radical belief? They are undoubtedly commensurate with the vital issues engaged in the process, leading sometimes to “transition” and “gender reassignment”. ” The being of nature “and” the being of culture ” do not mobilize the same identification processes of the psychic development, without however excluding each other, and the notion of “afterwardsness” (deferred action) should be considered as highly important in these questionings.
