À propos du rêve chez l’enfant
Résumé
Dans la première partie de ce travail, l'auteur envisage quelques considérations relatives au rêve chez l'enfant. Il se réfère plus particulièrement à certains textes freudiens qui abordent les rêves d'enfant, puis aux travaux de D. Meltzer qui étudie le développement de l'histoire de l'analyse des rêves de S. Freud à W.R. Bion, en passant par M. Klein pour en arriver à ses propres élaborations. Enfin, il soulève quelques interrogations à propos des rêves de l'enfant : l'apport des rêves par l'enfant, leurs récits, leurs fonctions, leur approche technique.
La seconde partie, plus clinique, développe quelques illustrations issues de trois axes de troubles psychopathologiques : des enfants jeunes, notamment psychotiques ou astructurés traités en Hôpital de Jour, des enfants (pré) phobiques de l'âge oedipien ou de la première latence et enfin des enfants latentiels.
L'idée centrale de l'auteur, à travers les références théoriques et le matériel clinique, est de proposer la compréhension des productions oniriques par rapport aux autres productions psychiques dans l'ensemble du fonctionnement mental.
Samenvatting
In het eerste deel van zijn artikel wijdt de auteur enkele beschouwingen aan de droom bij het kind. Meer bepaald verwijst hij naar bepaalde teksten van Freud die betrekking hebben op kinderdromen. Verder gaat hij ook in op bepaalde werken van D. Meltzer. Deze laatste hield zich bezig met de geschiedenis die de droomanalyse mee maakte van S. Freud to tot W.R. Bion via Melanie Klein om uiteindelijk zijn eigen visie uiteen te zetten. Ten slotte stelt de auteur enkele vragen in verband met kinderdromen : de aanbreng van dromen door het kind, hun verhalen, hun functies, hun technische benadering.
Het tweede, meer klinische deel, brengt enkele illustraties in verband met drie ontwikkellingslijnen van psychopathologische stoornissen, namenlijk : a) jonge psychotische kinderen of kinderen waar de psychische structurering niet op gang komt en die in het daghospitaal behandeld worden. b) (pre) fobische kinderen uit de oidipale ontwikkelingsfase of uit de vroege latentiefase en ten slotte. c) kinderen uit de eigenlijke latentiefase.
De kerngedachte van de auteur, doorheen alle theoretische referenties en klinische voorbeelden, is een beter begrip bij te brengen van de droomproductie en hoe deze zich verhoudt tot de andere psychische producties binnen het geheel van het mentaal functioneren.
Summary
In the first part of this article, the author makes some reflections on children's dreams. He refers particularly to certain freudian writings which deal with children's dreams, then to the work of Meltzer, who studies the history of the analysis of dreams from Freud to Bion, passing by way of Melanie Klein to arrive at his own formulations. Finally, he raises certain questions concerning the child's dream : the act of bringing dreams by the child, the recounting of dreams, their function, their technical access.
The second, more clinical part, discusses illustrations from three areas of psychopathology : young children, notably psychotic or non-structured children treated in a Day hospital, (pre) phobic children of oedipal age or early latency, and lastly, latency children.
The central idea of the author is to suggest an understanding of dream productions, through theoretical references and clinical material with reference to other psychic functioning in the entirety of mental functioning.
